MUMBAI (T) — A study by the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s (USMOM) team found that Cialis and its active ingredient, tadalafil, are both highly effective for treating erectile dysfunction.
The study, published in the American Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, was conducted by the UMM of Maryland.
“Our study demonstrated that the drug tadalafil, which is used to treat erectile dysfunction, has an excellent effect for men with erectile dysfunction and is an appropriate treatment option for these patients,” said Dr. Yifeng Wang, MD, professor of urology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
“The use of tadalafil in patients with erectile dysfunction has been shown to be effective for many years in many countries,” Wang said.
The USMOM team evaluated the efficacy of Cialis, tadalafil, and Viagra tablets, and determined that Cialis was significantly more effective in treating erectile dysfunction in men with low sexual desire.
“We found that the use of tadalafil and tadalafil are equally effective for erectile dysfunction, and the drug has an excellent effect on sexual desire,” Wang said.
Tadalafil and tadalafil-based drugs, Cialis, and Viagra, work by increasing blood flow to the penis, and the medication is taken orally.
“This improved erection can lead to better performance in bed, and more satisfying sexual experiences for a longer time,” Wang said.
In addition, Wang said that tadalafil is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.
“It has been proven to be as effective as the drugs Cialis and Viagra, which are both effective for treating pulmonary arterial hypertension,” Wang said.
“Tadalafil, however, has the advantage that it is also a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor, which is also a more potent vasodilator. This has the benefit of having fewer side effects than any of the other erectile dysfunction medications,” said Dr. Wu. “While tadalafil may not be as popular as Cialis, it has the benefit of being more affordable and with fewer interactions with other drugs.”
The USMOM study, which involved 1,716 men aged between 18 and 55, was conducted by the USMOM Laboratory and was funded by USMOM. The research was published inArchives of Internal Medicine.USMOM is a biotechnology company that specializes in the discovery, development, manufacture, and commercialization of pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and medical devices.
A USMOM researchers has completed a research study of sildenafil citrate, the active ingredient in the FDA-approved prescription drug Viagra, for erectile dysfunction in men. In a recent study, the drug was found to have significant effects on men with erectile dysfunction.
According to the study, the drug was significantly more effective than Viagra in treating erectile dysfunction.
The researchers also found that the drug was well-tolerated by most men, with an average of only one dose per day. In fact, the average dose of sildenafil citrate in the study was 5.5 mg, which was the maximum recommended dose in the United States.
“The drug’s safety profile should be well-studied by the UMM researchers,” said Wang.
In addition, Wang noted that Viagra was approved by the FDA for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
The drug has been shown to have a mild effect on erectile dysfunction in men with erectile dysfunction.
“This was the first clinical trial conducted in the United States, and the findings of the study may be used to guide the development of new therapies for erectile dysfunction,” said Dr. Wang.
UMM colleagues and researchers are working on developing new treatments for erectile dysfunction.
Tadalafil, the active ingredient in the FDA-approved prescription drug Viagra, is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor. The drug is taken orally.Whether you can take Tadalafil at the same time as your other medications will depend on which medications you are taking.
You are required to complete a short medical consultation questionnaire that asks for any medications that you are prescribed from your GP and will indicate the medications that can’t be taken alongside Tadalafil.
There are several medicines which should not be taken concurrently with Tadalafil. Medicines which can have potentially serious interactions with Tadalafil include :-
• Any alpha-blocker medicines e.g. doxazosin (Cardura), alfuzosin (Xatral), tamsulosin, terazosin, or Flomax, that you can buy in the pharmacy. (These medicines may be used to treat prostate problems or high blood pressure).
• Isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, or use a GTN spray or tablets
for chest pain or use Rectogesic ointment?
• Nicorandil (Ikorel), used to treat angina
• Cimetidine, used to treat stomach or duodenal (peptic) ulcers
• Theophylline, used to treat asthma
• Antibiotics:- Clarithromycin, Erythromycin and Telithromycin
• Anti-fungals such as itraconazole and ketoconazole
• Seizure medication:- carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin and primidone
• Heart or blood pressure medication:- disopyramide, amiodarone, quinidine and procainamide
• Anti-viral medication:- telaprevir, atazanavir, retonavir, indinavir, saquinavir and cobicistat
• Recreational drugs:- amyl nitrate (poppers)
If you are taking any prescribed medication from your GP then you can simply write those in the “Is there any other medical information that you think our doctor should know?” section on the medical questionnaire. Then, our doctor will know whether the Tadalafil is safe for you to take.

Tadalafil belongs to the group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors, primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Erectile dysfunction is the inability to keep a hard and erect penis suitable for sexual activity. Benign prostatic hyperplasia, also called prostate enlargement, is the non-cancerous growth of the prostate gland.
Tadalafil contains ‘Tadalafil’, which works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis; this allows the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited. Thereby, it helps to treat erectile dysfunction. Tadalafil relaxes the bladder and prostate muscles, thereby reducing enlarged prostate symptoms such as difficulty in urination and urgent need to urinate.
You are advised to take Tadalafil for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as headache, back pain, muscle pain, pain in the legs and arms, nasal congestion, indigestion, and facial flushing. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
Do not take Tadalafil if you are taking nitrates (used to treat angina), riociguat (used to treat pulmonary hypertension) or alpha-blockers; if you have heart problems or stroke, low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure. Tadalafil is not intended for use in women. Tadalafil may cause dizziness, so drive with caution. Avoid consuming alcohol as it might cause increased dizziness. Tadalafil should not be given to children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and the medicines you are taking to avoid unpleasant side effects.
Cabergoline (generic name: Nootropion; active ingredient: Tadalafil)Cabergoline is a PDE5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by relaxing the bladder and prostate muscles, which reduces enlarged prostates. It works by relaxing the smooth muscle in the bladder and prostate and allowing the prostate to grow. This causes reduced need for urgently needed urination and more urine, making it easier to pass urine. This medicine does not interfere with your other medications such as nitrates (used to treat angina), riociguat (used to treat pulmonary hypertension) or alpha-blockers. You are advised to take Cabergoline for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience side effects such as headache, back pain, muscle pain, back inflammation, indigestion, and facial flushing. Consult your doctor if you experience side effects persistency. Consult your doctor if you are taking nitrates (used to treat angina), alpha-blockers (used to treat hypertension) or not (used to treat pulmonary hypertension).
Generic Nootropion (generic name: Sildenafil; active ingredient: Cabergoline; prices:mainly branded and generic; brand: Cialis [USP], generic; [USP])
Tadalafil is available in various brand and generic formulations; however, the generic formulation is most commonly used for ED treatment. Common brand names include Cabo-Tadalafil, Cialis [USP], Tadalafil [USP], Cialis [USP], Cialis [US] and Levitra [USP]. Tadalafil is available in oral tablet and injection formulations. The generic formulation may be preferred for:
Back pain and muscle aches have been reported when taking Tadalafil, but back pain and muscle aches are rare side effects. They do not necessarily indicate serious back pain or muscle aches, as they may indicate other medical conditions.
A person should not drive if taking Tadalafil as it may cause dizziness or fainting while using this medicine. Do not stop using this medicine suddenly, as this may cause a serious drop in blood pressure.
Generic Tadalafil may be more effective, but only if there are no other other more effective alternatives. In such a case, the doctor should prescribe a brand name equivalent to the generic formulation.
Cabergoline should not be used with other PDE5 inhibitors, as it may cause a serious adverse reaction when taken with these drugs.
